This is indeed very interesting for learning and academic purposes, but how could any normal person get access to such substances? Some of them I hadn't even heard about before.

Readily available online. I posted a few links in reply to balla.

Here we go again. People who can't into neuroscience are recommending brain-altering chemical substances to others who can't into neuroscience.

This thread pops up a couple of times a year, and as I always state I will repeat again:

Do not take nootropics. Do not attempt to consume anything that will have a profound effect on either your neurotransmitters or their synapses.

If you don't know what you are doing, there is a likelihood that you will cause permanent damage to your brain (or in more serious cases, you will die).

The reasoning is: Nootropics strongly interact with certain everyday substances, a large consumption of aforementioned substances will lead to brain damage, an extreme consumption will lead to death.

But as always, do as you will, I actually wouldn't mind if a majority of you permanently logged off (it just so happens that the majority coincidences with people who won't take my advice).

I know this is a stupid question, but do you have any proof of this? (that isn't in Russian)
