Nice setup, i personally wouldn't have so many dumbbells; but it looks good !

I would add a nice heavy bag just for the kicks.. but that's just me ! hehe :D or a pull up bar somewhere

The lat-pulldown machine looks like a waste, a simple pull-up bar would have done you kore good. The dumbbells are just taking up space, grab a set of adjustable ones and you should be set for anything requiring light weight. And as has been suggested, just get a power rack and throw an adjustable bench in whenever you need to do bench, there's no need to buy all of this separately.

Save yourself money and get a gym membership.

Inb4 friends start fighting over who pays for what and ownership rights when you move out.

Edit: room way to small not even worth the hassle

You guys are crazy for hating on the lat machine. I know the picture quality is shit but there's another pulley on the bottom near the chair. Can row, can curl. The attahments are easy to remove/attach. Was doing some tricep pulldowns yesterday for the first time in a long ass time.

As for the people saying get adjustable dumbbells, realize there are sometimes 3 people working out in this room. We need more then just a power rack and bench..

and it is pleasing to the eyes ofc

but I cannot disagree with basics/compounds if you guys are serious about gainz

wtf is the point of a full db rack when you can do 1 arm tri-ext with the heaviest db :P

Haha well as previously mentioned (I've made a few posts, don't expect you know the full story) I got the dumbbells and the rack along with the bench, olympic barbell/ez curl, weight and tree for $350. Hence the 3lb dumbbells, obviously they have no use but I got it all in the deal.

I'll be picking up a set of 35 and 40lb dumbbells either tomorrow or Tuesday. We plan on slowly building, it's just hard when we're on a budget + buying used (not a lot of heavy dumbbells available).

Been a while since we've really done anything to the gym. Picked up some 35lb dumbbells and got rid of the smaller ones that we never really used.

We had been looking for a Squat rack for some time (as noted in previous posts) but really hadn't found anything with everything we wanted.

Friend found this brand new at some exercise warehouse for $700, fits in the room nicely and adds a FUCK load of workouts we can do. Took the three of us about 2 hours to put it all together, but it's sturdy as fuck and we're all very happy with it.

As you can see, its fully equip with Heavy Duty Pullup bar, Dip Bars, Cable Crossovers and of course a full functional squat rack.

Will have more pictures of the rest of the room tonight, friend still has to send them over (as you can tell the quality is a bit better, had him take pics with the iphone).

Overall the rack fits in the room perfectly and the room looks AWESOME. Filled the room up well and we can pretty much do every exercise we want. Only thing left is more weights.
