why not make holding a newspaper a requirement? i have all the required photos from months ago, as i'm sure others do too, so that would give some an unfair advantage.

Ah, that is a very good point. From here on out, the following rule applies:

• At least one of your pictures must have some form of a datestamp, such as the day's newspaper.

If you have already taken pictures and (if you've gotten around to it) posted them, just take one more with the datestamp along with a pose that makes it clear that your body in the datestamped picture is the same body you have in your submitted pictures.
