Nevada asked for amazon.ca, which led me to believe that you were asking the same.

For US sites, you have to shop around. Every so often, sites like drugstore.com, vitacost, swanson, amazon, and others run sales on Quest Bars (or all bars) with coupon codes. If you get lucky, you can grab a box of quest bars for around $15 shipped. Just add multiple quantity of boxes and enjoy.

If that's still too expensive, definitely make your own.

Oh sorry, I didn't see that he was asking specifically for canada. Thanks for the advice.

Do you happen to have a good recipe for homemade bars?

I personally do not, however if you spend some time researching, I'm sure that bodybuilding.com will have something good!

I'm 5'8 155lbs. I don't work out, but i want to do some exercises at home. I have access to a pull up bar(doorway) and 25lb. dumbbells(i know they are light). I'm already in decent shape but id like to get as big as possible with what i have access to. I have some protein and preworkout laying around also.

I guess what i was looking for was a weekly routine of exercises i could do at home and maybe what i should eat? I don't know if I should do pullups, pushups, and curls all in the same day? or what i'm doing, or how i should be doing it for that matter. I am taking this serious and would really appreciate any help i could get. Thanks in advance.

Matt

edit/ I'm looking get my arms, chest, and core bigger/stronger. I walk all day long at work so i get some cardio and leg exercise already

I am sure I can find a recipe somewhere. I was just wondering if you had one you preferred. Thanks for the help though! I appreciate it.

Bodyweight exercises

In addition, you really could benefit from using the 25 lb dumbbells for some supersets. Bicep Curls, Hammer Curls, One arm skullcrushers, kickbacks, floor flies, standing shoulder presses, front/lat raises, bent over rows, lunges, front squats, and even weighted crunches.

With bodyweight exercises only, you should alternate between upper/lower each day, 6 days a week. Example,

mon - upper
tues - lower
weds - upper
thurs - lower
fri - upper
sat - lower
sun - off

You should strive for at least 5 sets of each muscle group (ie: 5 sets chest, 5 sets bis, 5 sets tris, 5 sets back, 5 sets shoulders on upper day, and 5 sets squats, 5 sets lunges, 5 sets weighted crunches, 5 sets deadlifts, 5 sets calf raises, on lower day)

do you have any suggestions on something hard/semihard i can chew on? not something soft like chewing gum. i used to have a bad habit of chewing straws, my finger, those plastic peels on bottle caps, etc. friend used to tease she'd give me a pack of dog bones. recently i've been chewing again, probably related to anxiety.

You can use them for the whole workout - but they are only really necessary for leg exercises. Yes, you can wear them while jogging as well.
