i think i have dry skin on some parts of my hand. or maybe it was just damaged from some cleaning chemicals or something. here's a pic from the end of december. i've been using some lotion a few times a day, but it hasn't improved much. do you have any suggestions on what i can try?

sometimes it seems to crack, like the red you see in the pic. i used some neosporin and a bandaid, which actually seemed to help. but when i stop using it, it goes back to what you see.

like idk 20-50 bars for cheap bulk

where I live it's too hard to find or its cheap stuff and overpriced.

I don't need them but I feel like eating some sometimes and I just dont have any lol
Would be useful once in a while to have some around

I too would like this info. Can't find any good ones that are reasonably priced and I can only find boxes that have like 4-6 bars in them.

Taking these to work/class would be nice.

hey raynor

my blood test came back and showed my alkaline phosphatase to be at 125
is there any reason to be concerned? or lower it

That certainly is on the higher side.

Was GGT measured as well? If so, what was it?

Before you can treat the problem, you must determine the cause. Do you have any infections, bone fractures, or other medical conditions in the few weeks leading up to the test (or chronically) ?

Looks like dermatitis or psoriasis of the hand. Could also be a bacterial infection from surface contamination.

Have you tried to scrap the area using a rasp? If not, you can try to rasp the area, shaving down the skin, and then applying an antifungal/antibiotic ointment. You will need to clean the rasp thoroughly with alcohol after each use, and continue use as needed. If it gets worse, or if blisters appear, see a physician immediately.

Also, try to keep the hand thoroughly dry and never submerged in water for any length of time.

I personally do not use Canadian supplement sites (due to me living in the US and the extremely rigid supplement standards in Canada). However, upon checking amazon.ca, I couldn't find anything in bulk for you. I personally recommend Quest Bars, Power Crunch Bars, and VPX Zero Impact Bars. The prices are outrageous (around 25% higher than USD prices) and there is no bulk purchase available.

My best advice would be to make your own. Get some oats (or puffed rice), whey protein powder, peanut butter, honey, crushed almonds, and stevia. That's really about all you need. Google some recipes and you will find some great stuff!

Nevada asked for amazon.ca, which led me to believe that you were asking the same.

For US sites, you have to shop around. Every so often, sites like drugstore.com, vitacost, swanson, amazon, and others run sales on Quest Bars (or all bars) with coupon codes. If you get lucky, you can grab a box of quest bars for around $15 shipped. Just add multiple quantity of boxes and enjoy.

If that's still too expensive, definitely make your own.
