Hey Ray,
I got a MRI and it turns out I torn my lateral meniscus, waited 2-3 months after injury to get it checked out. I injured it squatting, does this tear heal or is surgery needed like they told me?
Mostly hurts when running or going into a squat position.

It's never too late to fix a problem - it just might be more complex to fix now than before.

Are you currently experiencing pain? Or has it subsided?

It happens really randomly. General living doesn't usually trigger it, but if i happen to stretch it like when I was trying to grab the rows machine handles while still having my feet mounted in place did. I can also trigger it if I stretch it into this one position. If i also massage the area, I can feel a dull pain.

Depending on the severity of the tear, surgery is NOT always necessary.

Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation - along with a good solid knee brace, combined with routine physical therapy, will usually fix the problem without surgical intervention.

Traditional rest/ice/compression/elevation, along with gradual stretching and massage can eventually fix the issue. Furthermore, chiropractic therapy can also be of tremendous assistance.

is this inflammation?

I had this 3-4 years ago but that was back when my bed matress was kinda broke and could feel some springs and I kinda "hurt" my rib cage or something then bought a new one and weeks after felt good
like my rib cage doesnt hurt or anything but under if I bend over or sit down and learn forward, I feel like my rib cage on the right side is getting stuck into something (nothing major just something with disconfort)
it doesnt hurt its just a bad feeling.

im wondering if it could be inflammation last time I had this like I said it lasted maybe couple weeks.

or if this is a known symptom for something in particular

have this again since 2 days.
its only when I bend over or learn forward alot while sitting
--------------------------
I know its not bodybuilding related but im asking bcuz ur a doctor ;p

cheers mate
