I'm about 2 months out from doing a 3/1 hypertrophy. Goals are still to gain mass and build muscle, would it be more beneficial to ease my way right back into hypertrophy or start a new/different regimen?

It would be best to gradually start hypertrophy over the next 3 months so that the huge volume increase isnt a total shock to your body.

alright, I'll keep my diet on point and take it easy the first few weeks. I was up to 175lbs, unfortunately down to sub 165 after slacking since October :'(

i was looking at the lactose-free ice cream section and came across "arctic zero" brand. any problems with it?

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Whey Protein Concentrate (Milk), Organic Cane Sugar, Chicory Root, Sugarcane Fiber, Strawberries, Guar Gum, Xanthan Gum, Natural Flavors, Beet Juice, Citric Acid, Sea Salt, Monk Fruit Concentrate.

on a second glance i noticed the nutrition facts. 3g protein 2g fiber 5g sugar 0g fat sounds like a great ratio for a dessert. (35 cals per 1/2 cup)

It's actually one of the products that I recommend. You can go ahead and enjoy it as long as it fits within your macros.

do you have a list with all the branded food products you recommend? outside of supplements (ON, CL, etc), i dont recall you recommending very many.

here's the list that comes to my memory:
gnu fiber bars
vpx zero impact meal replacement bars
quest chips
oikos organic greek yogurt
(and now arctic zero ice cream)

I don't have a specific list of brands, aside from NOW! that I fully support, but rather certain items that specific brands make.

That being said:

Ostrim Jerky
Quest Bars (natural ones)
Quest Chips
Gnu Fiber Bars
VPX Zero Impact Bars (pumpkin supreme preferred)
Oikos Greek Yogurt (or any organic greek yogurt)
Stonyfield Cottage Cheese
Applegate Sliced Meats/Cheeses/Bacon/Sausage/Hot Dogs/Frozen Chicken
Simply 7 Quinoa Chips
Back to Nature crackers
Lundberg Rice Cakes
Muir Glen Organic Tomato Sauce (any organic sauce is fine, but these are the cheapest and taste great)
Stonyfield or Horizon Milk/Cream/Butter
Zephyrhills Spring Water
Zevia Soda (Stevia sweetened diet sodas)

That's just a brief list off the top of my head. There are obviously MANY products from various brands which are also excellent. I don't even bother listing some items like rice/pasta/beans/etc. as these widely vary based on the store you shop at. Most house brands for these items are also fine and much cheaper.
