lol no they are roughly 20.4 kg for reds and yellow is about 11.5 kg the plates in pounds also the bar is 20.4 kg  I wish they were kg plates... cause just competing at 56 kg I would love to be CnJing 150 kg... but I have a long ways to go.

And about your jerk, you seem to do a rather narrow split? Might just be cause can't see whole legs.

Really impressive and if you get 242/291 I am seriously mirin x3!

It may be narrow, Most Oly coaches I have talked to say that I do not push myself under the bar, as my back leg is not bent very much. Which I know I don't push myself under the bar nor do I bend my back knee much because I have struggles with getting the barbell backwards, therefore i have the majority of the weight on my front foot making it hard to bend my back knee.... my technique is not good, but it is getting better... especially on the clean.... except when it comes to heavy weights I have a lot of mental barriers.... best as of now is 238/280 (108/127) although I have caught 240 (109) I could not balance it in the bottom position....

Curenttly not cleaning the same issue i'm not squatting. I focus my energy on fast and heavy deadlift at the moment. I CnJ 110 without much problem like 2 weeks ago without training for it. PCleaned 100 easy. As soon I'm healed i'll focus on Olifts and reach 240/300 in within 1 year. I'll be trying to reach 85 kg weight class... currently 78-79kg.

for now i'll keep Bench pressing and deadlifting till I get better.

Have you thought of doing clean extensions and snatch extensions rather than just dl?

Training for a Pl meet in the meantime. my squat's gonna be shitty but i'll most likely hit 1100 at 165 by the end of 2013

what are clean and snatch extensions btw? clean and snatch pulls?

pretty much the pull but also with the pop of the pubic bone to the barbell at the top. Sweet man good luck at your meet.

Fuk man gz lifts

I just tested my 1rm's on thursday

210lb snatch (First time ever was in aug 2012, it feels light but my form needs much work as well as shoulder flexibility)
280lb c&j

but im also 177lbs :wallbash:

cleaned 285 but basically did the exact thing you did in the first try of 280... mental shit messing with me and not really sure if I want to drop under it :P
also havent tried oly lifting with a belt yet, or oly shoes for that matter...

Ah, yeah I have the same problem.
My ''coach'' says I should be doing like 20kg more in my both my snatch and my c&j based on my squat/dl but I am horrible at putting everything together :(

Still, your total is really good for someone at your weight, you lift more then I do at like 25kg less bw.


And Aube, I guess the extension is just another word for pull according to fast searches on Youtube.
Otherwise they are extremly similar.
