what are your current lifts raynor

ilu

Not as good as my all time bests, I assure you.

Bench has stagnated to 405 x 1 with a belt and wrist wraps.
Squats are idling at 455 x 2, just below 90 degrees, with a belt
Deadlifts are also holding at around 455 x 1 with straps and a belt.

I am also idling at around 185 lbs and 10-12% bf.

Quite frankly, the above lifts are only possible with a good 10 hours of sleep, excellent nutrition, and plenty of stimulants prior to the lifts. I normally don't touch 1RM's because of my schedule and lack of recovery ability. Also yes, I am still in Residency (out of Med School).

The only general donation i'm familiar with is blood/plasma. Are there other donations with no long-term effects (eg: giving away my kidney) that are helpful and in short supply?

ALL donations have long term effects except for regular blood (at infrequent intervals). Even plasma donation can be a problem for some individuals, or everyone if donated too frequently.

Organ donation is extremely risky and will definitely reduce your body's ability to fight certain disease and also decreases your overall immune system and in some cases metabolism.

I would only consider organ donation if a person you love very dearly requires it and you are OK with the possible consequences.

For making money, I would NEVER consider something like this unless it was your absolute last resort. Donation of organs if you have died is a different story and should be considered heavily.

Hey there.

- measuring cups/spoons, body weight scale, and food scale too many to choose from - go on amazon.com and work off reviews

actually body weight scale question: I was 15%bf on my scale and my friend's scale it's showing 12.5% on the same day. (both you have to input age and height and sex - which ofc I kept consistent) What gives? :(

Also - my gf had DIM+ (http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Way-DIM-plus-Estrogen-Metabolism/dp/B00014IGXS) laying around for acne (0 effectiveness in her experience) and now that she's on birth control - it cleared up a lot. So she said ask Ray (yes I talk about you and the good work you do a lot LOL) to see if you can use it as she heard something about body building on it and how I'm always ranting about my "why are anti-estrogen's and PH illegal" and "what if I have gyno" scare LOL.

I immediately dismissed it as it's over the counter and how it didn't work for what she needed it for.

What are your thoughts?

i'm looking for glass dish with lid for microwaving. i was going to order a pyrex since it used to have a good reputation, but i'm reading now that they no longer use Borosilicate Glass, and some customers report it explodes. should i stick with Borosilicate Glass?

i'm looking to get this guy here: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CSCH20O

thinking of getting this one for general purposes (soups / reheating pasta / cooking noodles), and getting another one to keep at work to microwave-cook eggs in.

Bodyfat can NOT be measured on a scale. Those are estimates (and bad ones at that). You would be better off using calipers or even some of the digital ones (electric impedance). But a scale will NEVER tell your true body fat %.

As far as Diindolylmethane (DIM) goes, in general it's a decent natural supplement that can help reduce bad estrogen levels and increase good estrogen levels, thus returning the body to a better equilibrium in certain cases (such as females with breast or ovarian cancer).

That being said, it is certainly not as powerful as certain Aromatase Inhibitors (AIs) that you can buy OTC. Although, it is a natural supplement and has virtually no side effects or long term effects. It can help marginally (1-2%) or moderately (up to 10%), depending on your body and causes of your estrogenic issues. With regards to acne, it depends. It can SOMETIMES help if the acne is caused by an estrogen imbalance. But by the same token, if the problem isnt an estrogen imbalance, it will have absolutely no effect on that particular problem.

As far as what type to get? I would stick to the purest and simplest form if you're going to try it. That means no extras, no additives, etc.

Try Solaray DIM Supreme. The Natures way that you have has a lot of various other contents, which may or may not be of assistance, and in some cases can even work as an antagonist.

Good luck!!

That Simax one looks great!!! Too bad there aren't any reviews.

I would avoid using ANYTHING plastic in the microwave, which rules out 99.9% of anchor and pyrex, which have plastic lids. As far as the glass itself goes, I haven't had any problem microwaving or oven heating in my pyrex or anchor products.

thanks Ray for the very informative insight. Toward that end, for males (as she is throwing it away as she doesn't need it for acne anymore and wants me to take it as a body building supplment) how does it affect gains/fat loss/increase test/reduce estrogen - if at all and is it worth taking for me?

I looked at other Simax products (different capacities) and they had good reviews. Ordered!

It can't HURT you, but rather act as a very mild AI (Aromatase Inhibitor). You can use it up and see if you notice any difference (most likely not).

those might not be top notch for you but they are impressive for others nonetheless

question: what are the pros ans cons of deadlifting with a trap bar versus a conventional deadlift with an olympic bar
