breathing into your belly IS using your diaphragm. your intercostals initiate respiration from the rib cage by contrast

E/ ofc some Insta filter but not looking terrible. Chest still needs work I know. Cutting a little bit more to make abs visible

Using them yes, but not expanding the diaphragm upon inhalation, right?

With proper breathing only your belly expands



E/ you would have a better idea than myself.. Is it bad posture causing his quad to slump onto his knee or something else?

depends on the intensity of the breath. insanely heavy breathing will require diaphragm, intercostals, pec minor and a bunch of neck muscles as well. your diaphragm is responsible for most breathing at rest.

likely just a little extra skin and a hyperextended knee

Think he's mainly talking about breathing into your belly vs into your chest which is a very different thing. can vouch being a wind player for 8 years lol. Idk how chest breathing would cause any sort of health problem though, like cloud said it really only effects large intakes of breath.
