Don't know anyone that squats 315 honestly . Strongest guy I know benches 225 but he's been lifting for 5 years and is 170 lbs, sub 10%

These are just my personal experiences though .

You must be training at one of those playground gyms.

Then you're trolling. I can walk into 24 on any given day at any given time and see someone squatting 315 and benching 2 plates.

I know people who deadlift 700 and squat 800+ :( I thought strong people were an abundance.

A commercial gym. A normal person stepping into the gym isn't going to hit those numbers.

Big difference between the average joe and a hifhschool/university athlete who has guidance from coaches and trainers and are expected to hit certain weight classes.

It's really how you train and your genetics

i train at a military gym and the highest parallel squat i've ever seen is 355, most people dling/squatting high weights do it with horrible form and/or 1/16 rom
i always see some solid bench numbers though, and a lot of 200+ snatches

i've never seen someone squat or dl at the commercial gym near my house, and again a lot of 225+ benches

i'm pretty sure it depends a lot on where you live

I dunno, the gym I lift in I'm the only guy I've ever seen squat more than 3 plate. I see a lot of people bench 2 dinner plates but never squat more than 2. Hell, I barely see people deadlift more than 2 plates

Besides the odd serious powerlifter I've only ever seen 3 plate squat twice, both guys have done multiple cycles and weighed 250++lbs never seen more than a 3 plate deadlift but plenty of 2-3 plate benches

10/01

2 second paused squats 150 x 6 x 6
2 second paused bench 125 x 6 x 6

E/ this was yesterdays workout but now I have time commitments 2 weekends out of every month I barely have any time to lift on Friday and no time throughout the weekend, would it be possible to do my Friday day today even though it's supposed to be a rest day? Or more beneficial to try and get as much as I can in tmrw? I prolly have only an hour tops to lift including changing stretching warming up etc. Usually takes me 2-2 and a half hours
