I wouldn't be with this chick if she wasn't girlfriend material. Like someone previously said, to each their own. I've hooked up and dated white, black, hispanic, and asian girls. Not being racist or anything, but I can never get the same amount of connection with a non-Asian girl than I could with an Asian.
Same thing happened to me with a girl last year.
I was at work when a gay co-worker and she came in. I commented on her shirt and we talked for a little bit.
The next day the gay co-worker came in and asked me if I wanted her phone number and I was really hesitant and told him I'll think about it and let you know before my shift is over.
I thought fuck it why not and we talked. I honestly didn't really want to go on our first date but we got along incredibly well and she just grew on me from that point on.
