This is called the  gastrocolic reflex. It is completely normal in healthy individuals. It's basically the body making room for additional food to be digested.

I see, I'm about to throw you a curve ball now tho

I've got a pretty stable diet, not much changes day to day

Just had some miccy ds (maccas) and, as expected due to gastrolic reflex ;), I needa to poop, but it was more of like the 'oh shit I need to shit asap' kind of feeling and it was sloppy

I'm 99% sure it was the miccy ds making my poo sloppy, but how is that possible if I just ate it

Edit: maccas is not part of my normal diet, I only was forced to go through the drive through maccas cos my asshole group member Christina at uni wanted to meet on campus

There are a few explanations for this:

1. Excessive amount of oils, some partially hydrogenated, which can stimulate an immediate response (within 30 minutes) of gastrocolic reflex.

2. Consuming foods high in these oils, as well as rapid digesting products (such as simple sugars from buns/fries/etc) can also trigger the Duodenocolic reflex, which can result in immediate loose/watery/messy stools.

3. Fructose malabsorption can also be a component here, as most of McDonalds foods contain a good amount of HFCS. If you are sensitive to fructose, you will experience the side effect of an almost immediate loose stool after consumption.

4. Gastroenteritis might also be at play. If you have irritated bowels and consume certain other irritating foods (McDonalds would definitely be on that list...) you could see immediate colonic emptying response before the stool is ready to evacuate, resulting in messy unformed stools.

The bottom line? Stay away from fried, greasy, oily, foods.

I have used over-the-counter Pro Hormones in the past, but never illegal substances including anabolic steroids, testosterone, growth hormone, etc.

I have not used OTC Pro Hormones for approximately 4 years, and probably will never use them again for the long term liver concerns.

I appreciate the response my man, you're looking thick in your avi! look much taller then 5'7.. guess not though manlet-brother

At least you are honest.. many people lie about their use and it makes me wonder... why? I guess people are afraid to receive less credit... lol, fuck credit... and fuck diet....

keep at it, i'll go through this thread later, nutrition is a highlight of my past... and then it became chemicals :)

good luck fella

P.S.

LIVER DAMAGE should be the least of your concern, your liver will regenerate itself over time, look at the many standing alcoholics.
You'll shut down your testosterone, once you come off, your estrogen skyrockets, hormones become out of twack, your body will adjust or feel nothing, it all depends how you handle sides...

but you WILL recover, and you will NOT become infertle.

I abused the hell out of epistane over the years off and on before certain vacations.. i conceived one boy last august.. one girl in december...
don't believe the fear mongers on uneducated forums.

best way to figure things out.. are to try it for yourself... experiment :-)

Thank you for the kind words.

Being that I have just completed Medical School and am beginning Residency, I really don't have as much time for lifting as I once did. I stick to maintaining as much as possible. My diet remains fairly consistent. With regards to PH, I don't bother, as I am no longer competing, nor do I have the time to aggressively bulk anymore.

Long term health is a big concern for me at this point - perhaps it's my medical training.

Either way, thanks again, and take care.

Hey Raynor, I'm having some issues with getting light-headed while I lift(mostly squats) which I'm assuming is because I don't eat before working out. I get up at 5:30am and start working out by 6:30 and I hate eating in the morning. I've never been able to stomach anything that early in the morning, especially water.

Any recommendations? Should I just force myself to eat something like a protein bar with a small carb shake?

Raynlads, any recommended Accesory for bench press for someone weak off the chest?

I never fail a rep where my elbows hit parallel. Can often get it off my chest, but sticks someone between the bottom of the lift on the chest and when elbows hit parallel.

So far ive just been concentrating on doing paused reps

Similarly to my deadlift, I never fail a lift once it breaks the floor, I think I might be weak off the floor, so I've added in deficit deads. What do you think?
