I wouldnt say the moment, just slowly started being harder to get out of bed, and bags under the eyes, i also quit smoking drinking coffee cut out junk food and only drink water/green tea

It could be a combination of things. It is possible that your body achieves more restful sleep during the 5am-3pm hours. Also, that was 10 hours of sleep, vs 8 hours of sleep, which is a big difference.

So the extra 2 hours of sleep, plus a different circadian rhythm might be the trick here.

The solution however? Darken the room as much as possible, keep it cold, keep the sheets clean, make sure the room itself is clean and free of dust, try the nasal wash, and you can also use melatonin supps occasionally to assist.

Hey Raynor,

I've been having trouble with my lower back and not really sure what I should do. It's really tight most of the time, and when I bend over then straighten up it get's really stiff, almost like I just finished a set of deadlifts.

Not sure if this is just tight muscles or something else.

When did the problem start? Does it persist throughout the day? Does anything make it better or worse? Do you feel any type of pain in that region, and if so, what type and when?

It's kinda chronic, bending over can agitate it and make it stiffen up.

Was mulching 2 weeks ago and had a lot of trouble bending over after moving bags around and spreading the mulch.

I wouldn't say its exactly pain, more like chronic discomfort. Kinda like the same tight feeling you get after doing deadlifts or good mornings

It's been going on for about 2 weeks or so

Raynor,

What do you think about supplementing Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Citrate, or Beta Alanine for anaerobic sport performance (Weightlifting)?

You should see a chiropractor (check reviews of your local ones first).

In addition, spinal decompression, in the form of an inversion table would be helpful as well.

I don't surmise that you injured yourself, however tightness of the lower back can be indicative of constant muscle strain/stress. This can occur as part of a daily labor related job, sleeping on an improper mattress, or even lifting weights incorrectly.

In your case, I think some stretching, along with spinal decompression and/or chiropractic adjustments should make a positive difference. If you notice the problem get worse to the point of high levels of pain, please see a doctor.
