In regards to painful muscle cramps... I hear its actually bad to stretch out that muscle if cramping and that it can do more damage.

Like getting those super painful muscle cramps that make you cry.. and you can literally see your calf muscle spasm...

Are you supposed to let it pass, or stretch it out? But then heard stretching it will just screw it up even more due to the conflicting forces.

And if it IS bad, why does it generally feel better when stretched?

Should I take my fish oils soon as I wake up, before my morning fasted cardio? Or after I get back and with my breakfast?

OK please let me know how it goes.

There are a lot of factors that can cause this....we will investigate further when you have the remaining results for whole grains.

When experiencing an extreme cramp of any kind, stretching is NOT recommended directly. Instead, take the time to let the muscle relax. Some gentle massaging on the muscle will also help. You should consume water with electrolytes and keep the area mobile, but with minimal pressure during the cramping. To prevent this, you should warm-up first, then stretch for a good 10-15 minutes, then begin your workout as usual. Stretch at the end of the workout also for maximum benefit.

Interesting question!!

Yes, there are a few ways to improve memory.

1. Improve circulation (increase omega-3 intake to at least 4-6g per day, increase L-arginine + L-ornithine intake to at least 10g per day).
2. Reduce sodium intake, and increase water intake (at least 1 gal per day).
3. Try taking Ginko Biloba (approx 200mg per day), Acetyl L-Carnitine, Gamma E complex, and Ginseng which all have been shown to help improve memory when taken regularly.
4. Reduce stress from your life, and try meditation and yoga to further enhance this lifestyle.
5. Memory exercises (conduct memory exercises and memory games)
6. Get at least 8 hours of well-rested sleep per night
7. Avoid anything you are allergic to in order to keep inflammation low
8. Reduce wheat gluten in your diet (surprisingly many with memory issues have shown a positive reaction from this)

Here is an example of some memory and cognitive thought improvement games to try:

Good luck!

would you suggest this for a multi vitamin?

http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/men.html

so far still in keto, down about 25 lbs only taking fish oil from my local grocery store, green tea extract and one a day mens vitamin. was thinking of switching my multi vitamin to this opt men, unless you can suggest something better? and would you suggest any other keto-specific supplements or any other good supps in general?

I am looking to add something to my strawberry/banana/kale smoothies that will make me full that is very low in calories.

I assume adding some type of protein or fiber is the best bet. Any suggestions? I want something affordable as well that I can just buy on Amazon prime.

Thank you :)

I would prefer that you take NOW! Adam, which is a slightly better blend than optimen. Both are good though.

In general, you are good to go. You may also want to look into L-Carnitine and R+ ALA, which both will help you with KETO
