Caffeine and Beta A are the two primary causes for pre-workout euphoria, and intra-workout energy.
Arginine actually is an antagonist of caffeine, working to vasodialate, while caffeine vasoconstricts.
1,3-Dimethylamylamine HCL (AKA DMA) is a vasoconstrictor which increases blood pressure
Schisandra Chinensis (a Chinese Herb/Fruit), is primarily used for Liver Protection/Regeneration - it has absolutely no reaction with regards to energy, however it can improve your overall mood and increase euphoria.
Lastly, creatine monohydrate in such small dosage, is relatively useless.
That being said the inactive ingredients, such as artificial sweetener, are certainly not good for you, and have implied long term health effects.
As far as pre-workout supplementation...and how to achieve the same goals...
