YES! Continue to train 2x per week, but with the parameters mentioned in the guide. If your shoulders are feeling most of it, that usually means that you are not keeping your arms at a proper angle. You need to try and keep your elbows tucked into your lats, and keep the wrists at a position of the bar that you feel the most chest engagement. Shoulder burns on bench press and pushups usually means your arms are too wide and elbows are pointing out.
