My Goal by the end of August is to be 170. I am at 200 now on Creatine so I guess I'm even lower and I will have an accurate BF % before then. I work out everyday, 7 days a week. 2,100-2,200 is more calories than what I'm used to consuming the past 3 months here at college. I can be very strict with my diet and stay committed. Here I probably consume 1800 calories AT most per day.

I am cutting yes. I care strictly losing body fat but still lift weights.

I want to try Keto. It's the summer so I don't mind trying it.

I can purchase any supplement or anything required. Currently I have:
ON Fiber
ON Whey (4g carb per serving)
ON Micronized Creatine
Now! Adam
Now! Omega 3-6-9
Currently have no pre-workout/fatburner which would probably help a lot doing Keto.

Perfect.

Please follow my KETO plan here:

They would be fine, except for the fact that they use sucralose (splenda).

I personally do NOT like the texture or flavor of any of their bars.

So in general, I'd recommend sticking to something that uses real sugar (if carbs don't matter) or stevia as a sweetener.

I think you were ok with me using quest bars for my cut, should I change back to power crunch or something else? The + is they are cheaper but the - is the fiber I lose from it.

You CAN use them, but I personally would avoid them if possible. Power Crunch has always been my go-to bar.

Hello BIG RAY

I've always had a stubborn chest (especially upper part), therefore I'm trying to put on some mass. Although I would also like to increase my bench press. What would be optimal in your opinion? IIRC it is not easy to do both at the same time right? :P

I currently train chest twice a week, doing 4 sets for each exercise

Push 1:
BB Bench Press 185x6
DB Inclined Press 70x6
Cable Cross over 10 reps
Tricep pull down 10 reps

Push 2:
Inclined BB Press 135x10 (3 seconds negative)
Military Press 65x8
DB Lateral Raises 20x10
Pec Deck 10 reps
Skull Crushers 10 reps

Quick/easy question here friend,

Should I take creatine monohydrate pre or post workout? I read that 5g a day is usually what's recommended, although some sources said 5 before workout and 5 after.

Thanks again!

Creatine Dosing

After the loading phase, 5g per day is sufficient. Post workout would be fine.

Stubborn Chest Guide

Should I still train chest twice a week if I follow this routine? And even when doing pushups my shoulders burn, chest not that much

YES! Continue to train 2x per week, but with the parameters mentioned in the guide. If your shoulders are feeling most of it, that usually means that you are not keeping your arms at a proper angle. You need to try and keep your elbows tucked into your lats, and keep the wrists at a position of the bar that you feel the most chest engagement. Shoulder burns on bench press and pushups usually means your arms are too wide and elbows are pointing out.

thank you

Hey there.

I actually did finish (technically), but now I'm in Residency. Still more time to go until I'm on my own. For my particular specialty, there is even more training beyond that of a normal general practitioner.

What specialty are you going into? I'm hoping to go to medical school once I finish my undergrad
