how does my form look...been working on my frontsquat for about a month now. took me some time to develop the wrist flexibility. that's 135x8

Looks good, only improvment I can see would that you should try to ''chest up'' a bit.

hard to see from that view but..
Just focus on keeping your elbows in and up

Critique my front squat?

Never have front squatted over 150 lbs

Had 230 on after work sets and was like f it and tried it

It felt so awkward /. I couldn't keep my chest out and don't like how my upper back looks
Prob just shoulder /. Wrist flexibility ?
I felt nothin in my lower body lol it was my upper body that struggled with the lift ;(

I belive you're just not used to frontsquats that much since you haven't tried doing over 200 before, you probably just need to find a way that works well for you.

What was it with the upper body you felt that made you struggle? I pinch my scapulas like hell, even though it's really hard on frontsquats (for me atleast) and that helps me keep my back alot tighter and brings my elbows up a bit aswell.

I like couldn't even take a big breath due to where the bar was and during the lift it felt like my upper body wanted to collapse forward and felt like I was jus really rounded and not tight

Fucking hate front squats. Even when I get up to 225 for reps I struggle. Mainly because its so hard to breathe! And my elbows start to slide down. I cross arm though.. still terrible.

Yeah . I couldn't get a deep breath

I told myself I would never do a crossed arm front squat again :wallbash:
It's not bad , just stretch the wrists for a few min every day. . I'm getting better , I need better shoulder mobility tho
