Hey Raynor, how's lifting going? Current pics, b/s/d pr's?
Also, as far as cutting and bf%, is there a general rule of thumb or formula to estimate how much bf% you will lose on a cut over 1 week? At say, 300-500 cals deficit

i recall you've recommended the NOW unflavoured protein. is there anything wrong with the novus life solutions unflavoured protein?

http://www.novuslifesolutions.com/WHEY-PROTEIN_c_27.html

i was going to try the 5 lb concentrate. if it gives me the shits ill switch to isolate. i wanna start weening off the stuff i'm taking now with artificial sweeteners. maybe use 75% of the artificial stuff and 25% of nonflavoured and add the veggie powder + stevia to help with flavour, then slowly change the ratios until i get rid of the artificial stuff entirely.

second question. some days i dont eat much solid food. just juice + evoo + protein powder + 1 fiber far. when do i take the supplements that you've recommended taking with meals? CLOT, vit d, calcium, fish oils in particular. i'm guessing i take some with evoo and take some with the fiber bar?

I am 6'0" 204 maybe 15%-16 bodyfat currently, I'm about a month into my cut. Started at 210

I lost 5 pounds the first 1.5 weeks, a lot of which is water weight, but last two weeks have been fairly low. I'm averaging probably around 2550 calories a day. I work out 4-5 times a week, my workouts are about an hour long, and am walking about 4 miles a day just from going around campus.

Do you think this is a decent amount of calories for me to be consuming or should I lower them a bit. On the weekends I tend to overeat a little bit, just because I'm out with friends more, but my weekly caloric levels are usually intact still.

Along as how should i go about treating my refeeds, such as how often and how many extra calories.

Definitely reduce calories to 2,000 per day from 2,550. You are probably too high to lose body fat at a reasonable rate with your current activity level.

Also, HIIT cardio would certainly benefit you, especially first thing in the morning while on a fast.

That vitamin is EXTREMELY low. I would not recommend it.

This is something far superior:

It depends exactly what's in the salad. Also, chances are you are eating far below the necessary protein you require.

The NOVUS looks good, however I don't know much about the company itself, and therefore can't really make a decision either way with regards to quality of product.

That being said, if everything listed is actually what is contained therein, it's a good product.

Yes, you are also correct in the times to take the vitamins. You mostly want them with meals containing fat - so the EVOO is certainly on par for that.

curious why you recommend cardio on a fast. Shouldn't it be the same in regards to the amount of calories I'm burning?

and another question, not sure if you have any advice on the matter, but I've got the LSAT coming up, I'm swamped with school, and other stuff in life which really have the priority, but I'm really looking to not slack during my cut. So any tips in regards to balance life while having an efficient cut?

It helps burn additional fat when your glycogen stores are low.

As far as the second question goes - the key here is willpower. Get yourself into a rigid routine, eat meals at regular intervals, and keep them planned accordingly. The hardest part, but also the most important part, is making a schedule and sticking to it.
