i enjoyed the amaretto di amore (21% ABV) so i bought a bottle of the classical amaretto disaronno (28% ABV). it tastes a bit stronger since it has more alcohol, so i wanted to add some stevia to it. i put in stevia-in-the-raw

unfortunately it doesn't dissolve very well. can you make any suggestions? i was thinking either get a different powder or perhaps try liquid stevia, but i'm not sure what brand to try. sounds safer and more convenient than trying to heat up alcohol, hope it dissolves better, then cool it off.

can you recommend a whitening gum?

btw, those vpx bars still tasted great!

I don't recommend any whitening gum at the moment mostly due to harsh chemicals added to the gum.

Just stick to baking soda and peroxide which is the best whitening treatment for your teeth.

Liquid stevia would be the way to go. I believe stevia in the raw makes one.

Tolerance, unfortunately, will have be gauged by trial and error. A good rule of thumb is that a 170 lb man (on an empty stomach) will gain .02 alcohol BAL (blood/breath alcohol level) by consuming one alcoholic beverage per hour (one 6oz glass wine, one 12 oz beer, or one 1.5 oz shot of 80 proof - 40% liquor). So for 21% alcohol, every 3 oz would raise your BAL by .02%.

.08 is the legal driving limit, so you can expect that .10 is relatively intoxicated.

so that 170 lb man would have to drink 10 shots of amaretto to reach .10% BAL and become intoxicated. However, tolerance level will vary GREATLY - 5 shots for you might make you sick!

i ate ~1000 kcals of food (noodles + sauce + cheese + protein shake + fiber bar), 1L of water, and 11oz of 28% amaretto. my cognitive abilities are almost the same. i'm able to watch chess videos and follow along + remember what i watched earlier. but i'm very disoriented and feel like throwing up. had to walk around to avoid it. is this the feeling so many people enjoy? or is my tolerance just too low to get to the desired point? and i drink alone ofc, not interested in social drinking. the first 2 times i had amaretto it helped me sleep but now i'm not feeling that effect.

/edit also hiccuping. idk if thats a coincidence or part of alcohol

on a non-alcohol topic, i was looking around for stevia drinks and came across Zevia, a stevia soda. what are your thoughts on it? according to the FAQ they have some BPA in their aluminum cans and some flavours (like cola) have caramel colour.

sample ingredients:

Orange:
CARBONATED WATER, ERYTHRITOL, NATURAL FLAVORS, CITRIC ACID, REB A (STEVIA EXTRACT).

Cola:
CARBONATED WATER, ERYTHRITOL, CARAMEL COLOR, TARTARIC ACID, REB A (STEVIA EXTRACT), CAFFEINE, LIME OIL, LEMON OIL, NATURAL FLAVORS, CASSIA OIL, NUTMEG OIL.
CAFFEINE: 45MG/12 FL OZ

/edit their site says they do have some glass bottles also if the BPA is a concern. but i'm not sure if the stores near me have the glass bottles :$

/edit2: are there any other stevia drinks you can recommend?

It is very difficult to understand what you are trying to say, however, if you are trying to cut body fat down to 160 lb or so, to make your abs more visible, 1,800 calories would be correct.

Hey there.

It's more than just what exercises to do and what foods to eat. If you want to change your appearance, and lose body fat (getting down to the 6-8% area), as well as increase muscle mass/definition, you are going to require a very structured routine that you must follow for an extended period of time.

It's a lifestyle more than it is a simple diet.

1. The disorientation of drinking is fairly normal. As you grow accustomed to it, you are able to deal with it better.

2. The tolerance aspect will also change in time. If for some reason you are attempting to build a tolerance to alcohol (not a good idea), in time you will be able to consume much more with less effect.

3. Hiccups are completely normal when drinking alcohol - they are a physical anomaly that sometimes show themselves during alcohol consumption, stress, drinking/eating too fast or very hot/cold foods.
