Specifically if you are looking to build cannonball shoulders and brick wall traps (and I'm assuming these two parts are slower responding than other muscle groups) then I suggest that you train shoulders 2x a week.

In addition, try the following:

1. Seated military press (BB) - 5x5
2. DB Lat and Front Raises - 10 dropsets
3. DB arnold presses (seated) - 5 sets until failure each set
4. DB Shrugs (standing until failure) - 5 sets
5. DB Shrugs (seated until failure) - 5 sets
6 Smith or Regular BB shrugs (until failure) - 5 sets
7. Bye Byes (for rotator cuff) - 5 sets at the end of workout

This may seem like a lot...but it will help your stubborn shoulders.

this is correct. It all depends on your strength and ability - everyone is different.
