The correct HIIT pattern should be around

2 mins fast walk
2 mins jog
30-60 seconds sprint
repeat.

You seem to be doing it right, but just remember, a sprint means MAXIMUM intensity.

I also do hiit by doing by mx exertion for 30 secs, followed by 1.5 min fast walking, followed by 30 sec sprinting, then 1.5 min walking... is doing this way wrong as well? I continue this for about 15-20 min, then go on a stairmaster for 10 min.. boy am I sore after.

I also take it high volume training is best when on a cut? Rather than heavy weights

hey!

since i got my new job 4 months ago, i dont have a lot of time to take care for my body (i was at gym 90 min per day for 16 months, but since i have the job i dont go to gym anymore) and i gained 5 kg now with no doing sport anymore and eating a bit unhealthy...

im 1.76cm tall and i weigh 78kg (i always was at 70-73kg, thats my ideal weigh i guess)

now my stomach became a lil bit bigger obv, not much but enough to made me worry about this, as i dont go to gym anymore im afraid of losing weigh, and my skin to not become on the orginal position again (hang?)

can you please give me some tips on how to lose those 5kg without any further problems on my skin want it to be very tense!

thx a lot

All you need to do is reduce your total calories...try to decrease carbs (including sugar) and increase protein if possible - and try to get at least 30 mins of exercise per day (jogging, biking, swimming, weight lifting, etc)

You don't seem like you want a complete body change, but rather just to lose a few lbs of fat. At this point, 5kg will NOT reflect with loose hanging skin, so no need to worry there.

You can refer here as well

That version of HIIT is fine as long as your heart rate goes low enough for a proper interval. If you are maintaining 150+ bpm constantly, you're going too high and in anaerobic mode.

yes, volume training is superior to heavy weights on cutting, mostly for the greater chance of injury with heavy weights while on a caloric deficit.

It could be MANY things, so let's narrow it down.

1. What changed or was different in your life when the sleep change began, compared with before? Think even small things, such as your diet, bedsheets, detergent, or even more complex issues such as family, job, etc.
2. Given the times you sleep, you might be experiencing a senstivity to light, does any amount of light enter your room where you sleep?
3. Noise levels....are there any constant noise levels in your house during those hours that you wake up?
4. Do you wake up hot? cold? having to urinate? etc?

i have to wake up urinating, but i am trying to stop water intake before bed but i am still getting up every 3-4 hours

If you are waking up to urinate, even though you are NOT drinking immediately before bed, you might have the following:

1. UTI
2. Irritated Bladder
3. Renal Failure
4. Diabetes
5. Prostate enlargement/inflammation

My advice at this point is to see a Doctor, particularly a urologist, and have a full examination to rule out any/all of the above.

If all above are ruled out, we can try diet modification/supplementation

Isn't anaerobic superior by not only making you work harder cardiovascularly but doesn't it boost metabolism more than plain aerobic and doesn't anaerobic increase HGH as compared to something like aerobic?

i'm reading up on coconut oil and i came across this:
Quote
Can coconut oil reduce cholesterol?
Coconut oil has a saturated fat called lauric acid, a type of MCT. It has been shown that lauric acid increases the good HDL cholesterol in the blood to help improve cholesterol ratio levels.  Coconut oil lowers cholesterol by promoting its conversion to pregnenolone, a molecule that is a precursor to many of the hormones our bodies need. Coconut can help restore normal thyroid function. When the thyroid does not function optimally, it can contribute to higher levels of bad cholesterol.

when i saw the nutrition facts, coconut oil is almost all saturated fat. but according to that (and wiki), this kind of saturated fat is better than unsaturated fat if i read it right. what can you say about it? is that all nonsense, or is the amount of lauric acid just really small? you've always suggested evoo over any other oil, so it made me wonder.

No.

You need to only be anaerobic for a short period of time (ie: during the sprint portion of HIIT) for maximum benefit. If you are constantly anaerobic you will not achieve as efficient of a workout (in terms of fat burning and endurance).

Coconut oil and certain MCT's are an ongoing debate. In general, I would not support the hypothesis that Coconut oil is superior to Olive Oil and even other fat sources such as avocados or even canola oli.

Coconut oil is certainly safe, however, I would not buy the hype at this point, as saturated fat in general, if left unbalanced, can be potentially dangerous.
