How are the converse ones, my gf bought me a pair, not sure if the high tops would be better. The difference between reg shoes and the soles for the converse are so different.

I know the difference in the shoes just wanna know why they upset him lol

i feel as if the high tops are better...its what i use...the low tops are more casual walking around places..but to each their own

Cause converse are IMO the ugliest shoes and poser shoes. Plus you are wearing them in a gym. Not all agree but most ppl I know do.

converse are legendary gym shoes, the pros used to wear converse high tops like a boss (and still do)

They are so ugly and screem "I've yet to grow up"/"I'm 14" though :\

Pros looked too good needed to bring their lvl down to mortal status w/ ugly shoes I guess.

Those ppl don't do any cardio or what? I'd hate to run in those.

converse high tops look sick on 250 + pound monsters, with calves the size of my arm.
but i agree witht he ugly concept.

although, the converse/capri thin track pants/thin long sleeve with a belt on looks sick in the gym.

like tear said, they are a legendary shoe for lifting. They are a good flat soled shoe for squating and deadlifting in. If I was running I would use different shoes...If I saw someone wearing skate shoes I would think they are the 14 yr old that still needs to grow up...
