what are some good weighted ab workouts?
I am skinny but 6-pack doesn't show and my abs are SMALL
My abs are strong compared to others but still doesn't show (I can do more ab workouts/heavier ab workouts than others with 6pack)

Is weighted ab exercises necessary?

Or can you just do like 15 sets of ab exercises but superset them.

Like do v sit ups till failure, followed right away by leg raises, then followed right away by oblique lateral exercises. Or are weights necessary for that popping look, or can high volume training do that

It depends. Weighted ab exercises greatly increase ab density and volume, which is needed for true core strength and appearance in most people. However, some respond very well to bodyweight only exercises. I would advise doing both.

The girlfriend has been having eating issues for a long time. One she is a very picky eater, and doesn't get her proper nutrients even for a non lifter. Ive tried getting her to eat better but she just doesnt. So she has trouble keeping her food down. Today for example she had two little chicken wraps from mcd's for lunch. and chicken tenders and fries for dinner. bout an hour after she had one strawberry Margarita. An hour after that she threw it all up. This happens two or three times a week and i know she doesnt have an eating disorder or anything. I always thought it was because of her lack of variety of food and lack of exercise. But im starting to doubt it.

Any ideas?

This can be a very complex issue. First of all, she needs to stay away from fast foods and processed foods. Try with pure whole foods only, IE: plain chicken w/ rice or something to that extent and see if the results are the same. Try veggies, fruits, etc., see if the result is the same. Try other proteins, ie: Dairy, fish, red meat, and so forth, and see what happens.

If the result is the same with all items, there is a chance of the following:

1. Severe digestive problems
2. Psychological Issues
3. Self-Induced vomiting (ie: bulimia)
4. Allergies

Let's start with the diet and see what happens. If you have more information, we will go from there.

I'm going to create a 3 day plan, where i do the same exercises every day.

I can only use 10 exercises, and i want to chose from these particuliar exercises:
What would be a good combination?

Legs:
Squats

Chest:
Bench press
Incline Dumbbell Bench Press
Pullowers
Flies

Back:
Deadlift
Chin-ups
Bent Rows
Pulldowns
Seated Rows

Shoulders:
Military press
Shoulder press
Shrugs
Front raises

Arms:
EZ-Bar Curls
Dumbbell Concentration Curls
Olympic Bar Curls
Tricep Cable Pulldowns
Weighted Dips
Tricep Kickbacks

This is how i imagine my plan to be:

Mon - Weight lifting
Tue - Running
Wed - Weight lifting
Thue - Running
Fri - Weight lifting

Can you explain why you chose those exercises?

Trying to get back into shape, I'd appreciate it greatly if you could help me out in regards to my questions below :)
- I currently work out at home and the only fitness equipment I have is a set of dumbells (roughly 15kg each), Is that okay to work with for about 1-2 months? I'm planning on doing a 3 day split and simple push ups on chest day
- Trying to put on some weight and thinking of buying a gainer (PVL mutant mass) as an additional "kick" to my daily calorie intake (spread to 3-4 meals a day), Is it worth considering?
I'm an ectomorph

Thanks in advance :)
