what would happen if instead of a strength routine, u do a high frequency hypertrophy routine while on a cut (deficit) but get a large protein intake? would u lose fat and gain muscle like body recomp? or is it just gonna maintain ur muscle yet u'd still have fat loss?

Oh, another question... what takes priority when eating carbs... storing as fat, or replenish the liver/muscles with stored glucose.

Will it store as fat even if you deplete stored glucose? Or will it always refill reserves before storing as fat

Heya,

You said not to be in ketosis all the time and to have a carb day... why is this?

I've been low carbs for weeks ( About 50-70g of carbs a day.. INCLUDING fiber.. maybe 1/3 - 1/2 is fiber ) and I feel fine... sure I miss carbs, but is it totally necessary to have a pig out carb day?

50-70g of carbs per day means you are NOT in ketosis...and therefore you do not need a carb day.

For those having <20g of carbs per day, they are in ketosis and thus would require a carb day every 7-14 days in order to keep the fat losses moving along at the same pace, and also to give the muscles a boost with that glycogen dump. Of course, they will be out of ketosis for only a day or two.

It all depends on your goals.

If you are BULKING....eating carbs before bed is fine. Technically if you are cutting, that's fine as well, assuming it fits into your current macros and calories. I would avoid SUGAR all together, as it really is not helpful for the body except immediately after a workout.

With regard to morning food, unless you are on a critical BULKING cycle, and tend to be a hardgainer, eating immediately is not necessary.

Maintain muscle with the potential for very small gains (if any).

The lack of glycogen in the muscles is the killer here. In addition, the protein is used as energy in the body as well, which thus gives you even less to repair the muscles with.

On a pure deficit, losing fat is easy, but building muscle with any efficiency is nearly impossible.

Glycogen replenishment will always take place in the liver and muscles BEFORE any type of fat storage occurs.

Hey there.

I would definitely do a carb day immediately, then carb up every 7-10 days as needed.

2-a-days do not mean the same muscle twice a day. Instead you would do something like this:

Workout 1 - Chest/abs/cardio
Workout 2 - Triceps/calves/cardio

If you train the same muscle twice, on a deficit, you are risking damaging the muscle without enough surplus to repair it.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE FURTHER DONATION!! =)

EDIT:

You can also do Chest/triceps/cardio, then abs/calves/cardio later. But you get the idea.

No problem, I will try and squeeze some 2 a days in when I can find time for sure.

Last question! How does this look for an EC stack dosage? I planed to do only 2 weeks unless you reccomend more (Will be my first time). Plan to start it on a non gym day (Sunday). I will be using Bronkaid 25mg most likely.

EC Stack (DOSE 4-6 HOURS APART)
Day 1 - 12.5mg Ephedrine + 1 Caffeine Pill
Day 2 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg caffeine (2 Doses)
Day 3 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg caffeine (2 Doses)
Day 4 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg Caffeine (3 Doses)
Day 5 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg Caffeine (3 Doses)
Day 6 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg Caffeine (3 Doses)
Day 7 - 1x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 1x 100mg Caffeine (3 Doses)

Week 2 - 4x 12.5mg Ephedrine, 5x 100mg Caffeine TOTAL (3 Doses)
Dose 1 - 25mg E, 200mg C
Dose 2 - 12.5mg E, 200mg C
Dose 3 - 12.5mg E, 100mg C

Just to clarify, my net carbs from that will only be like 30g or so. Give or take. Rest is fiber and doesn't really count.

How can I not be in ketosis from that? Especially exercising 6 days a week, doesn't the brain alone need ~70g of glucose to function? So I have to be in ketosis with all that exercising and only ~30g net carbs a day don't i?

But it's good to know I don't need a carb day lol

Looks fine to me....if you experience heart palpitations or other negative effects, discontinue usage immediately.
