Where I live it's less.

These numbers I'm seeing are crazy.
Cost of living in central maine is sooooo cheap. the only thing expensive around here is gas.

Exactly how I feel living in the midwest. I have family friends with a combined salary of ~55k supporting 3 kids, pets, have their own land and 2 car payments. They still manage to save money and go on trips.

I make more than their combined and I already feel like I live a VERY comfortable life. Wouldn't consider myself upper class, but then again I don't make near 200k lol. To hear 200k is middle middle class is a little mind boggling.

Don't think I could ever live in Kamloops . Kelowna I could do.

I didn't like it at first. The dirtbiking here is amazing though, I'm hooked. Kelowna too busy and snobby for me.

Yeah that's a good place for all those types of sports dirt biking , snowboarding skiing etc. I'm more into soccer and ball hockey so much better places here for that.

I work 45 hours a week. I think it's too much but I do it because of what they pay me.

I agree dude.. 55k/year is fine for family and kids here. If you're in the city here, that's a little different, but where I live, np.

Lol, I know you live in Canada, but what is your cost of living?

My families cost of living is about $15,000 a month, excluding the cost of education fees

In the UK, £35k + is good (~54k USD). Enough for a 4 bedroom detached house and a pretty good standard of living as long as you don't have kids.

It's good to see there are still places with acceptable costs of living.

In some places, it's getting pretty ridiculous.
