I get pretty excruciating back pains on squats and deadlifts with GVT, had a trainer watch my form the other day bcuz they always are just sitting around doing nothing, and he said he saw absolutely nothing wrong with my form and was surprised i could keep my back so strait.
I just lift through the pain though and sit down when needed. On leg day my back feels fucking horrible for 30 minutes after squats even and it makes me sweat like crazy, but not going to give up squats.
but does your back hurt 8,9 months after, even after stopping the lift?
i can work through pain, but i'm not going to do something thats going to hurt me that much down the road. when it initially happened, simple things like bending over hurt
