Hello Raynor,
Something odd happens to me whenever someone close to me dies, this has happened 3 times to me now
I hardly ever show sad emotions to people, i keep most of them in, if that helps?
Anyway, the latest instance was today, was driving, heard the news, got a big build up of emotions, choked up, shortness of breath etc...
then after a while start feeling really really tired, so tired i needed to pull over off the road,
then i woke up over an hour later with my seatbelt on and radio still playing.
what happened here? Some kind of emotional release?
Thanks man..
Hey there.
It sounds like an anxiety attack. In people who experience a rapid and extreme onset of emotion, who also tend to hold them in, will have the tendency to suffer from anxiety attacks that can, in your case, make you pass out.
The solution to the problem is as follows:
1. See a good psychiatrist. Talk to them weekly, and try to get everything out. This will greatly help you in positively dealing with your emotions.
2. Make an effort not to keep your emotions in. Instead, let them out, even if it's only in private, to prevent yourself from suffering internally.
