i have bad posture. my arms/shoulders slouch forward. i'm trying to make a conscious effort to improve on this. i vaguely recall hearing that certain muscles (back? shoulder?) will help with this. what muscles are they, what exercises do i do, and does the strength or size matter?

Technically, all muscles, particularly the chest/back/shoulders/core

The key is to consciously work on it every day....making sure that your shoulders are pulled back, chin is up, and back is straight.

Are you on a regular workout routine right now?

Raynor, how should I run to improve my mile time? Not for cutting but just heart health.

Should I run fast for 1 mile, or should I run a slower pace for more than a mile? I think they both help but which would be better?

mmmm the ingredients list Medium Chain Triglycerides (From Nonfat Dry Dairy Milk) which may give me an allergic reaction but it's far down in the list and my allergy is not severe I may give it a try. If i get sick ill jsut give the rest to my roomy. the product says it has creatine monohydrate in it, should I stop taking creatine if I start taking this?

It's not about speed per se.

Improving running endurance and distance

You need to work on your endurance first, and as that improves, your speed will improve as well.

If you just care about "heart health" you should be working on sprints, and HIIT instead of a straight mile. Interval training is the BEST for heart health

No, continue to take creatine. There is not enough in that product by itself. You need at least 5-6g a day.

Hey there.

Well this is a VERY broad topic and can be found throughout the internet. However, I would advise if you are really interested in Nutrition, go to school for it. A B.S. in Nutrition would be an excellent choice to start with. Also you would be given access to scholarly libraries full of videos, documents, periodicals, and other information regarding nutrition.
