I've been trying to work on getting a 6 pack/nice abs for about a week and a half now, I have very little fat on my stomach so I am wondering what are the best exercises on going about and doing this?
currently I do 50 (or more) sit-ups each day, around 50 crunches, and I also do this thing (don't know the exact name) where you lay on your back and slightly hold your legs above the ground for 5 seconds and than lift them up some and hold for another 5 (do this about 30-45 times up and down). What can I add/change to help get better abs?
My left bicep is also slightly bigger than my right one (I only use free weights/dum bells) and don't work my right arm anymore than my left, should I just do more reps with my left arm to get it similar to my right again?
for abs, just do instinct training. find the exercises that hit your abs the best...and go with them. a full database of abs exercises can be found here:
http://bodybuilding.com/fun/exercises.php?MainMuscle=AbdominalsAs for the arm issue, my left arm is about 1/2 inch smaller than my right with less definition. over time it will even out, but for contest this will not do. to prep your arms your contest, you sometimes need to do a full day workout dedicated to the lacking arm ONCE per week. In addition, make sure you start making your bad arm the dominant one (that means use it to open doors, hold items, etc etc.)
If you are not training for contest, just let time takes it course.
