Also, for cutting, you would want to work out at a cardio pace - ie: very little rest between sets, often hitting muscle groups with lighter-medium weight until failure. You can also train compound exercises like squats, bench press, clean and press, etc. with higher weight until failure with short rest in-between with good results.
The main goal for cutting is simply to keep the activity level very high. Try to keep your heart rate in the average ballpark of 130-150 bpm, and try not to let it go lower than 100 bpm, or higher than 180 bpm.
Hydrate yourself properly, and if you start feeling faint, take a short break, splash cold water on your face, neck, and head, and continue when you are ready.
