You should be taking in around 4,500 calories a day when you start lifting.

Follow this sample nutritional guide:

http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=382849091
Bulking diet approx 4,500 calories

You want to strive for AT LEAST 300g protein, 500g carbs, and 80g fats. Make sure you are getting at least 2:1 or greater ratio of unsaturated fats to saturated fats.

Thanks man

Why is the shampoo recommended? I assume it's the cheapness?

Are there any more effective products, or any products that actually help with hair expansion/regrowth (reducing a receding hairline and reacquiring lost ground?)

That shampoo is specially designed to unclog the pores on your scalp and has been shown to increase hair follicle strength and hair growth in most men who have noticed thinning or baldness. It's excellent.

Also, another product you might want to try is

Nizoral Shampoo - This shampoo is medicated and has ketoconazole, which actually helps dissolve testosterone buildup in the scalp. The testosterone buildup has been shown to be one of the causes of male pattern baldness. I would HIGHLY recommend using both Nizoral and Energizer shampoos. Use Nizoral 1-2x per week and use the Energizer Shampoo the other days.

Hey Raynor,

I was wondering if I am eating too little. I feel strong but I don't want to not lose weight because I eat so little.

I am trying to cut doing lifting with 6on/1off with cardio every day. I also do kickboxing/mma training 2 to 4 times a week on top of lifting and if I don't kickbox (because of work) I run an extra mile at the gym.

I am eating approx 1500-1600 calories a day with 200g of protein

Diet is something like this (3-4 hours between food depending on restrictions)

Natty Peanutbutter+Banana Sandwhich and protein drink for breakfast
Protein drink and Apple
1 Cup Chicken or Beef and 1 Cup Rice/Sweet Potato/Brocolli mix
Protein Bar or Drink
1 Cup Chicken or Beef and 1 Cup Brown Rice/Sweet Potato/Brocolli mix
Casein Protein before bed

All protein mixed with only water, additionally I have a post workout whey drink that isn't listed.

I'm a bit confused. You said you do NOT want to lose weight, yet you are cutting?

What you are currently eating, given your activity level, will result in a VERY rapid cut, and could possibly be much too low in terms of calories. What is your height/weight and bf%?

Sorry for being confusing. I wrote "I don't want to not lose weight"

Meaning I don't want to starve my body into retaining body fat.

Unsure on BF %, I'm 6'1 and 240lbs.
