what's your take on digestive supplements? (like probiotics, enzymes, etc)

given the copious amounts of protein + food one must consume, i think i could use a little help making sure its getting put to use

and any personal picks?

An EXCELLENT question.

For a while I was using a variety of digestive enzymes and probiotics. I found virtually no difference when using these products and can only assume that they (probiotics in particular) would be useful for overall long term health. As far as gains at the gym go...I doubt their usefulness. However, some bodybuilders swear by them. I would reccomend trying it out for yourself and seeing if you notice a difference. Everyone's body is different...some people might just require extra enzymes to digest such large amounts of macros.

not familiar with them as a company...however...upon doing a little bit of research it seems that they aren't very reputable. I can't find any non-bias lab based scientific carbon testing on their products...so I have no idea if any of their claims are true (in regards to level of purity, concentration, etc). I would avoid and stick to brands you know are legit - until someone can investigate them further.

they won't ship a multivitamin to canada?? outrageous! You need to protest your country's fascist principles....that is absolutely ridiculous.

But on less of a rant...I don't know what would be considered legal in canada off hand....if you find me a list of legal supplements there, I would be able to tell you what to get from there.

if by legit you mean they contain the said amounts of what they are supposed to contain....I usually stick to NOW! products in general. They are very inexpensive...but also have a very good track record of quality control. For example - they found that the source they get their whey from, had found a very small trace amount of salmonella on their equipment. They instantly recalled all of their whey products from that batch, even though no one had gotten sick. Now that's a good company. In addition, they have never failed a carbon test to my knowledge...and furthermore their prices are quite low.
