Is there a research correlating it with deprived sleep?

I would still like to see some studies done on that though. Several trials using probably the same group of people. Memory and other cognitive tests while fasted with high ghrelin, and after feeding and thus low ghrelin. Do it several times and see if statistical significance is reached

Like you said, I wouldn't expect a huge difference.
ghrelin also responds to insulin levels, so a spike can bring it momentarily up and then crash down. caffeine can keep you alert but not as aware / attentive etc.

I was researching ghrelin and found this interesting. Apparently it's implicated in memory and learning via acting at the hippocampus, apart from its usual effects at the hypothalamus.

I'm hoping to say it's a safe extrapolation that while circulating ghrelin levels are high, it will facilitate learning to a greater degree. If this is true, probably another benefit for IF protocols. Combined with slightly increased sympathetic output while fasting (ghrelin is also sympathetically innervated), thus increased mental acuity and etc. Just seems pretty interesting, but doubtful the difference is actually too significant.

That is the reason I did IF for as long as I did.

Just more random shit lol
I hope nobody minds

I was wondering why sympathomimetics (ephedrine, Clen, etc) potentiate the effects of caffeine and well vice versa.
I thought at first it'd be due to adenosine receptor antagonism (affects thermogenesis, heart rate and such). Apparently though, it's the phosphodiesterase inhibition caffeine provides that does it (inhibiting that = increased cAMP levels). Interesting to me I guess

Viagra. If caffeine acts as a PD inhibitor, it'd make sildenafil or tadalafil more powerful, wouldn't it?

After all, they're PD5 inhibitors...

Perhaps I'm wrong and my joke was stoopid lol
