When you are competing, do you go off your creatine for the show?

Well I ended up getting super sick like 2wks before I started dieting (vomit/diarrhea for 24hrs) so I assumed I flushed my entire body out of everything & just never went back on it until post competition.

Depending on how I look next time around, I do plan on staying on creatine the whole way through even last week. If I feel im holding water & bloated ill drop it the last week.

Apparently its suppost to keep the good kind of water retention intracellular (in the muscles)

Update:

Hitting the scale around the 180lb mark -_- ... Looks like I'll be doing a mini cut in the near future.

Not that I care how I look, but I jst want to be in better position for next years prep. I think if I sporadically take off the weight I'll preserve much more muscle than just lose 45lbs at once. (Like last time)

Only problem is, the more "mini cuts" I do the less time spent building mass & getting stronger.

Good news
I've been taking it extremely easy on my lower back. Didnt squat for 2wks & havnt deadlifted (heavy) In forever.

Was feeling quite ballsy & decided to squat today.

(Super slow reps, sitting at the bottom of ATG for a good 1-2 seconds to stretch)

Having more trouble carrying the weight on my back rather than exhausting my quads -_-
Was happy with that because I was yet to hurt myself.

Your competition shots look great no homo, swole ass back..and gotta love the arnold pose ha

Surprised you didn't win based on those pics tbh, but then again it's always nice to have some thing to improve and work towards
