Normal is not a good term to use here.
This is usually a symptom of joint irritation or ligament/tendon inflammation and can be solved with a few things:
1. Increase water intake (1-1.5 gals per day total)
2. Increase Sleep (8-9 hours a night)
3. Increase Omega 3 intake (8-10g per day split into 4 doses would be fine)
4. Use joint support such as Universal Animal Flex
5. Increase flexibility with flexibility training once or twice a week
6. Change the angle that you are lifting at (neutral angles are much better)
7. Use elbow wraps as necessary
