Thank you for your response!

Few questions:

1) I've been told by my docs that I should buy patella braces for general use. The only reason I haven't done so yet is because I don't want to rely on them (I will wear them when I snowboard, though, or during sports) and I would really like to build strength in my legs. Would wrapping my knees allow me to build strength better without reliance on braces, or should I buy braces as well for during my workouts? And how tight should I wrap my knees?

2) Are the wide squats similar to "sumo squats"?

3) How many sets/reps of those work outs should I do?
Edit: I weigh 245pounds @ 6'1", if this makes a difference (I've gained like 20-25 pounds :( ).

Thank you so much for responding. I've been so friggin' depressed not being able to re-live an active lifestyle due to such a stupid physical block (which in turn turned to a mental block :/ ).

1. Wrapping protects without hindering strength gains.

2. yes, but not AS wide. You should go about 6-8 inches beyond shoulder width for each leg.

3. I would recommend doing 5x5 format. 5 sets of 5 reps gradually getting heavier, with all sets being very difficult.

Awesome, thank you very much! I'm starting these immediately!

Hey there.

Unfortunately you MUST cook the eggs to get the full benefit of the protein. Raw eggs also have the ability to carry food-borne disease which would be highly undesirable.

Switch to cooking the eggs - you can try soft boiled, hard boiled, scrambled, or over easy.

Thanks, I very much appreciate your advice.
And now that I had just gotten used to the taste :)
Switching back to boiling them then

Depends on the vitamin, method of ingestion, solubility, and other factors.

Some vitamins, such as A, E and D are fat soluble and thus stay in your body as long as you physically need them and draw from them. Could be days/weeks.

Other vitamins are water soluble (such as C and B) and these only last as long as it takes for your body to digest and absorb them, ultimately urinating out the excess. Generally speaking, it can take 1-2 hours.

Hey Raynor,

Joints:
Is it best to supplement/ combine MSM , GLUCOSAMINE AND CHONDROITIN together ?

What would be most optimal ?

What do you think of these 2 products
1. http://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Glucosamine-Chondroitin-240-Count/dp/B000I4DFAK/ref=sr%5F1%5F1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1349576262&sr=1-1&keywords=msm+chondroitin+glucosamine
2. http://www.amazon.com/Foods-Glucosamine-Chondroitin-Capsule-Bottle/dp/B0013OQKRO/ref=sr19?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1349576262&sr=1-9&keywords=msm+chondroitin+glucosamine

Any suggestions for a good joint stack ?
Thanks !
