friend thinks he has lactose intolerance. in the past few weeks he's had milk and pizza and went to the toilet an hour or so after. happened several times.

so i looked online and there are lactase enzymes that seem to make him normal as long as he takes them when he consumes dairy. he really doesnt want to give up dairy, so he's gonna try them to see if they work. if they do work, are there any long-term problems if he takes them and consumes dairy on a regular basis?

yes. I recommend doing your creatine like this:

First off, I recommend using Optimum Micronized Creatine Monohydrate (this is made with Creapure which is excellent).

To use properly, do the following:

Loading Phase - When you first start using creatine, begin with a loading phase of 20g per day for 1 week - split into 4x 5g doses throughout the day mixed with 100% natural grape juice (or thrown in your protein shake).

Take 1x in morning, 1x pre-workout, 1x post-workout, and 1x pre-bedtime. If you do not workout, just take the 2 pre/post workout doses sometime during the middle of the day, spread apart a few hours.

After the Loading phase, move onto the regular dosing phase - 5g 1x per day or 2.5g 2x per day.

Take 1x 5g dose mixed in 100% natural grape juice pre or post workout. Alternatively, you can take 2.5g pre and 2.5g post workout also mixed in grape juice. Both ways work just fine.

Lastly, you will need to cycle on and off of creatine for maximum effectiveness. An example of a cycle would be 3 months on, 2 weeks off, begin loading again.

The cycling will differ for each person, but the above idea will help get you started.

So the first weekend do i still go 20g a day? non working-out days.
Also if i take it with whey protein it should be before the whey or just throw a scoop in there(mixed)? it doesn't have to be grape juice right?
Can the cycle be shorter or longer? and when you say 2 weeks off that means completely off(none taken at all)? then when i start again thats the only time when you do a load? Every new beginning of a load

Now here is the real question.. Should i take it if i'm cutting or it doesn't matter?

Me and my bro are going to start a routine, but i want to make sure i get all this down cause i know he's going to bug with questions.

Hey Raynor, im using the 5x5 program you suggested with chest on monday. I'd like to target chest a bit more as that is where i want to improve the most.

Is it possible for me to maybe move chest a day or 2 over and hit chest a second time on one of the two rest days? I feel like my recovery times are great and I have been seeing fast/good results.

With TRT (testosterone replacement therapy, i asssume), i've heard that it is relatively safe in order to raise test levels to "normal". Would doing this have any effect on possible testicular atrophy, and other side effects of AAS?
In other words, would only using testosterone therapy (under the supervision of a physican) to raise test levels to 'normal" be any way harmful to the body?

If you are using it to bring your levels from low to normal, there are absolutely no negative effects of the TRT.

If you are being treated by a competent physician who monitors your bloodwork twice a year, you will never have any issues.

To put it in lay terms,

Lactase is an enzyme that helps digest dairy....

there are NO long term effects.

1. Yes, even on non-workout days.

2. Take it BEFORE the whey with grape or apple juice. I recommend it mixed with the sugar for a proper glycogen transport. If you use Kre Alkalyn this is not necessary. In addition Kre Alkalyn has a much smaller dosage.

3. Yes, 2 weeks of NO creatine (except naturally occurring in red meat). You only load after being off creatine for at least 1-2 weeks.

If you want to improve the chest faster, hit chest 2x per week in the following fashion:

Mon - chest/abs
tues - back/lats
weds - shoulders/traps
thurs - arms
fri - legs and chest

Friday will be brutal, but if you want more chest focus, that is the proper way to do it.

Raynor,

If I wanted to improve my heart rate and cardiovascular system, what type of cardio routine would you recomend?

I have access to many machines, but my two most used tools are a jump rope and a treadmill.
