1. DO NOT squat at all if you have knee problems. Leg Press instead.

2. I would avoid tanning beds and stick to natural sunlight. Do 30 mins a day 5 days a week for optimal vitamin d and good complexion bonuses.

is there a reason why you say not to squat? my knees feel bad when i dont squat for a while, but when i squat they feel good again. natural sunlight wont be an option soon as winter is coming up for me. i'm just wondering if tanning is really as bad as they make it out to be, or is it okay if used in moderation.

im too in love with how tan i got this summer. probably gonna get a membership. g/f's cousin said that once you have a nice base tan you only need to go once a week or once every two weeks.

I'm 24. 5'11' 164 pounds. No idea on body fat but I'm pretty thin and have athletic build

I've been doing p90x ab routine w my workout 3-5 times a week for four months now. The strength in my abs and "hardness" has increased significantly. However my tone looks the same.
Any tips on how to get the abs to show well?
I eat pretty healthy but maybe I'm still doing it wrong?
Breakfast is 3-6 hard boiled eggs with a cup of oatmeal.
Lunch is usually some form of chicken whether it's home grilled breasts or subway etc. Subway is typically as unhealthy as it gets
I still live at home and my mom is a chef she cooks pretty healthy meals for dinner usually.
Snacks include honey oak nature valley bars, Quaker oat bars, awful soy protein and sugar alcohol detour protein bars (all I have right now) and almonds raw.
Sometimes I eat cereal to cure my sweet tooth . Also choabni yogurts with salba added. With breakfast ir as snack I also have banana strawberries and or blueberries/ red grapes.

I take two fish oil NOW and one multi NOW daily. I sometimes take NOW protein after workout if I feel I have gone hard enough to justify it.
I have NOW creatine as recommended by you but haven't started jt because I haven't plateaued yet.

I drink water exclusively almost. Weekends I have a few drinks but nothing out of control.

Should I be running some? I don't want to negatively affect my muscle construction but am ignorant as to the affects of combining run and lift.

Maybe I just need to go harder and stick to it? I can feel each ab very strong. It just looks like a slim persons tummy as opposed to a person that works out their abs tummy.
If I flex my stomach I can pinch a seal thumb and index full of skin.

I get about 5.5-6.5 hours of sleep a night typically. Maybe not recovering enough...

I just went for a walk for 40 minutes with my dog and brother

Faster than normal walking but I wasn't jogging or anything

Just curious how many calories does that burn? and if u do that 4 times a week approx how much does it burn?

a 200 lb male burns approximately 100-120 calories per hour walking as a semi-fast pace.
