thing is dont lift wieghts.. i do contact sports where lifting isnt that important.

im talking about mma brotha.

i fucking rape 220 lb black gorillas who do crossfit all day at the gym. its technique and timing speed and explosiveness and experience all that matters.0( strength comes over time, lifting will just mae u bulky) i love when i get a big gorilla who thinks he can over power me but i neutralize all his attack and completely man handle him after his short 15 second struggle.

they will help but id rather be drilling a technique over lifting weights.


and besides jiu jitsu sparing is like an unlimited weight rack set, if you train hard you will make gains, nn to lift weght just to pump a a targeted area of muscle. with jiu jitsu works the muscles far more than needed to get strength.
