Yes, baking still eliminates much moisture, especially from a FROZEN product. Frozen products will quickly lose water density as they reach high heats.

The best way to measure the total weight is to refer to the bag to see the serving size in grams. Take that number and multiply it by the number of servings. This will give you a total grams amount per bag. From there, weight the contents of the whole bag. Then, if the gram amount you got, matches the same the scale gets, then the company is using frozen weight. If the weights do NOT match, it means they are using pre-frozen weight.

Makes sense - Will defiantly do this - thanks!

my mother wants a new bed. i dont know anything about beds, so what would you recommend? i can spend a few thousand, but not 20k. should i go to ikea, or look at those "memory-foam" stuff or what? she hasn't reported any back problems, but she's in her early 50s now.

It depends on her preference. As far as the actual frame for the bed, headboards and so forth, try IKEA for good prices.

As far as the actual mattress itself, she needs what's right for her body. That means if she sleeps better with a firm mattress, try a very firm inner-spring mattress such as Textrade.

If she is interested in memory foam, that's another consideration all together. For ALL mattresses, however, getting a complete mattress/boxspring cover set (allergen rated). Dust mites live in bedding, and this is the best way to prevent them from causing sickness, allergies, and unrestful sleep.

lmao....that was very entertaining.

Let me clarify....your daily calories are only 500????

It isn't all about calories. Carbs directly influence glycogen. Your body needs to have completely depleted glycogen to start burning stored fat.

The lower the carbs, the less glycogen, and the easier to start burning fat.

If you are only taking in 500 calories a day, you are severely starving yourself and will risk tremendous muscle loss.

I would HIGHLY advise that you take in approximately 500 calories less than your body needs for BMR. Then exercise on top of that.

example, if your body needs 2,000 calories per day, you would eat 1,500 cals....but also exercise for at least 500 cals...thus a total of 1,000 calories burned for the day.

Yee bra ofc I meant -500 cals what is this! I'm like 100kg
So if while at -500 cals, and my lifts arnt going down, then I should be dropping carbs more to further lose dat bf?

So much conflicting info.. More carbs to work harder to lose fat or less carbs to lose it easier, having around 450 atm

For cutting, drop the carbs. You will see faster fat loss that way.

You will also see less strength...but that will rebound on the next bulking cycle.

so you mean, if youre at a deficit of 500 cals by dropping carbs, you lose fat faster than when deficitting 500 cals by dropping fat+carbs?

Hi again raynor! Thanks for the great advice you gave me last time. Just had some additional questions regarding some things.

I will be following your 6 day gym routine outlined here.
http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=304396247

Two questions on the routine.
1. is there any order in which I should do the exercises? Is it better to do all the chest exercises and then go onto the biceps or can I do 1 chest, 1 bicep, 1 chest, 1 bicep, etc

2. You say to do 20 minutes of HIIT before and 20 minutes HIIT after. When I looked at the non-keto diet you provided here http://forums.d2jsp.org/topic.php?t=21269614&f=60&p=359274061#p359274061 you say to perform 20 mins of fasting cardio. Would that fasting cardio be the 20 HIIT before workout or am I supposed to do that and another 20 mins HIIT right before I hit the weights at the gym?

A lot of questions on the diet (Really need you to break it down barney style for me here as my diet is what has screwed over my weight loss the most)
1. What exactly is fasting cardio? Examples of what I can do?

2. I’m not a coffee drinker so I will be taking the 3 GAT Jet fuel like you suggest. Is this the right one to purchase?
http://www.amazon.com/German-American-Technologies-Jetfuel-liquid/dp/B001181RQG

3. What kind of protein shake should I purchase?

4. You say 1 cup of oatmeal. That means cooked right? What is a good type of oatmeal to buy?

5. What is a good type of lean beef and how to prepare it?

6. On meal 5, you say “assuming this is POST WORKOUT, if not adjust this meal to PWO”. What is PWO? I tried google, and I got Pokemon World Online. XD

7. My BMR is 1859.7 (Height 5’9 Weight 180 age 30) Will the Non-Keto diet you linked work for meat my current BMR

Whew. Sorry for the wall of text. Thanks for your help!

raynor, in general the only way to lose fat is to burn more calories than consumed.

so how do macros come into play? more specifically, the whole carbs?
