Sounds like you dun goofed.

Wouldnt you rather of gone to maintenance cals to preserve the muscle? Lose the fat later rather than spend much more time trying to put on the lost muscle whilst gaining some + the fat u jst lost lol...
better yet go into a slight deficit and still train around ur single hamstring?

I guess as long as your more comfortable, keep doing you brah.

Jelly of abs while that heavy... so deceiving :P

You cannot maintain sarcoplasmic size through nutrition without stimulus.

This, I guess. I know that I could have kept doing some other shit, but since hip is highly involded in almost all lifts except for hanging bw ones like pull-ups or dips, and that my legs are already being my upper body, I didn't want to make it worse. However, the main reason to stop was that I wanted the leg to heal as quickly as possible, and that I didn't feel like training while I finished my degree. Not that I was studying much either, but I wanted to lay it off for a while.

Can you reduce the amount of muscle atrophy through nutrition if stimulus isnt present?

Person A ) In a 20% calorie deficit, no stimulus.
Person B ) Maintenance calories, no stimulus.

Although the bottom line is no stimulus, I would imaging person A losing more muscle mass....

Naturally, surplus/maintenance would stall it in comparison to any deficit.
