Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation (RICE) are the best solutions for you.

Rest the elbows completely for 2 weeks, no workouts.

Ice the elbows 4 times a day for 20 minutes at a time

Compress the elbows with elbow compression sleeves and wear these as much as possible

Elevate the elbows above your heart as much as possible.

Got any sleeve suggestion that u could link me, and Can i still do leg?

Unfortunately not.

The reason for this is because it is actually very rare to find someone who is ALL of one bodytype and none of the others.

Most people have tendencies towards one, but also have some traits of another.

Example, a mesomorph has the ability to rapidly build muscle while also maintaining maximum leanness. However, there are people who TEND to be mesomorphs, but can also lean towards ectomorphosis - especially when diet is not carefully scrutinized.

The best way to figure this out is to examine your body type on a slight caloric deficit with regular weight training @ 4-5 days per week. Study yourself for 2-3 months and observe the end product which will be your true body type (usually a blend between them). This does NOT work if you are morbidly obese or extremely underweight as both will obviously cause you issues with regards to the above idea. You must be at least in an "average" state to figure out your body type if you don't immediately fit the properties of one of the three.

i was thinking more along the lines of inheritance for adoptions. i imagine it's very expensive to use sperm + egg donor + surrogate mother to create the baby i want, unfortunately. i'd definitely rather adopt an ectomorph girl or mesomorph boy than an endomorph. someone i know recently found out her baby is going to have down syndrome and she wants to keep it. personally i would rather have a child that's as perfect genetically as possible, but that's all personal preference i guess.

maybe i'm too pre-emptive. i think in the US adoption is very competitive :(. if im lucky i'll find a single girl who already has a baby with the genes i like. luckily i won't be ready for many years to come. the whole down syndrome thing got me thinking about it i guess.

Generally, genetic mutations and body types might appear linked, but truly are not. You can give me an ectomorph and with horrible eating habits, stressful lifestyle, alcohol abuse, etc. I can turn them into what would appear to be a classic endomorph.

With regards to downs syndrome, that is definitely something tragic that needs to be screened for prior to birth.

Again though, we are now greatly off topic in the sticky, feel free to pm me at a later time if you'd like to discuss this further.

RAYNOR, got yet another Dragonboat race tomorrow. How big does diet play a day before a race? I mean should I be eating Korean BBQ Buffet? or stick to the good stuff?

Can you also recap on what I should be eating 2 hrs before a race, immediately before a race, and immediately after a race?

Hey Raynor, whats your opinion on Omega 3 Krill oil? Same as fish oil? I just have a terrible time remembering to take fish oil multiple times throughout the day. Seems too good to be true though.

Also, when squatting, I have always had really weird sounds in my knees. I dont even know how to describe it. Its not cracking or anything, more like grinding and almost like tearing? Anyways, it has always happened when squatting, and it makes me worried about increasing weight. It has never hurt me, its just scary as hell. Is this just a lack of fish oil/glucosamine? I have never taken glucosamine because im allergic to shellfish, and haven't ever looked into if its possible to even get it without the shellfish element.

It is probably a ligament, I would doubt heavily it's actually bone pain.

With regard to drinking water - embrace the urination....it's a good thing for your body, not a bad thing.

Just keep up what I told you before, including the ice - and also take ibuprofen as necessary. Try your best not to overdo anything. When you start feeling deep pains, stop what you're doing.

In time it should improve.

Alright, so yesterday I didn't do anything and I was planning on working out again today, but I woke up with my wrist absolutely killing me.

Any ideas as to why it didn't hurt yesterday but it was killing me today? I haven't worked out since Wednesday.

I iced it twice today (20 minutes each) and I am planning on working out tomorrow. Thoughts on all of this?

Eat clean. Avoid excessive fats, and load up on complex carbs and clean protein. Make sure you get enough electrolytes and complex carbs before the race tomorrow....and plenty of simple carbs, complex carbs, and clean protein post race. Gradually re-introduce fats after the race.

Krill Oil is good for omega 3's.

The feeling you have is probably the rubbing of ligaments or tendons....totally "normal"

I would recommend wearing knee wraps though.
