why did you decide on an economics path? Given your extreme desire to learn about the body/knowledge (self education too?) w/ exercise phys, nutrition, etc, you could really excel at any career path there

"Furthermore, exercise-induced phosphorylation of proteins such as TBC1D4 and p38 MAPK, which remain phosphorylated for hours after exercise, may contribute to insulin-sensitization."

Perhaps this will also tick the brains of some readers into stopping to obsess over shakes post workout.

I was researching ghrelin and found this interesting. Apparently it's implicated in memory and learning via acting at the hippocampus, apart from its usual effects at the hypothalamus.

I'm hoping to say it's a safe extrapolation that while circulating ghrelin levels are high, it will facilitate learning to a greater degree. If this is true, probably another benefit for IF protocols. Combined with slightly increased sympathetic output while fasting (ghrelin is also sympathetically innervated), thus increased mental acuity and etc. Just seems pretty interesting, but doubtful the difference is actually too significant.
