reading through this thread im considering trying out almond milk.
Is it available in most super markets? Also is it expensive?
Im still going to drink regular if it tastes like shit though

it tastes better then grocery store milk, iv never tasted actual fresh from a cow milk so cant compare that.

there is also vanilla/chocolate/regular flavors. i personally get the chocolate and regular( unsweetened).

is carried in most super markets yes, might be in healthy isles sometimes.

I asked raynor and he seemed quite sure of himself, this wa his response

First of all, anyone who says Milk is BAD for you obviously either hates the taste of milk or got their information from a very skewed source. Milk is only bad under the following conditions:

1. Allergy
2. Lactose Intolerance
3. Severe Sinus Congestion or Mucus Problems
4. Carb sensitive people trying to diet

As far as other people go, Milk is absolutely fine. Whole or 2% are the better options in my opinion. Milk fat, although partially saturated, is not bad for you. As long as you keep your macros in line (protein/carbs/fat) and of course calories, milk is a wonderful dietary addition. If someone can show me ONE independent scientific study conducted by a reputable organization that shows milk being "bad" for human consumption, I would like to see it.

Granted, milk (cow milk) was designed for baby cows, one could argue that eggs were designed for producing baby chickens. In addition, steak was designed for being the lean mass of a bull. So the rabbit hole goes pretty deep when you start imagining what everything "should" be. The fact of the matter is that Cow Milk is fine for human consumption and provides decent nutritional benefits. HOWEVER, I would advise Organic milk over regular for the sake of no hormones/antibiotics being given to the cows. If raw milk is available, I would drink that over pasteurized.

human milk is good for human babies.
babies age (as do other mammals) and turn into children, and then eventually adults, their body produces less lactase which is the enzyme needed to digest the sugar found in milk (lactose)
most people as they reach adulthood therefore, have a reduced ability to digest milk sugar, in society today we call this a "disease or illness" and label it "lactose intolerance"
In reality this is nature's way of telling us we no longer require milk, especially that of another species of animal, full of animal hormones.
Look around in nature and try to find another mammal that does this.
In addition Diets high in animal protein + animal fats have been shown to directly accelerate tumor growth (cancer)
go read the china study and stop getting your information about milk from the people trying to sell it to you.
Or if you really think that animal milk is healthy, why stop at cow's? Go find a rat or a cat, or maybe a dog thats pregnant, and suck that titty.

because celebs are paid by the USDA to promote their product, we must drink it too.
Im not a baby cow, so i'll pass.

this sounds about right
