Can you explain the differences between the different laxatives? Are they all equally healthy (using the correct dosage), or do they behave differently, or what? Specifically (in)soluble fiber vs sugar alcohols, but feel free to add others too.

Laxitives are generally not good for general use. I would recommend fiber supplements and increased water intake instead. Look into Psyllium husk powder and make sure you are taking in around 35-40g of fiber per day for the best effect along with 1-1.5 gals of water per day.

It's summer, help!

I'm always warm, even in the winter. But in the summertime I'm overly hot all the time, and I sweat a lot too. Is there anything that can change this? Drink more/less/..anything?

Not fat or bad stamina by the way, never was, not even close.

hello, i have 2 quesitons. One is regarding my front delts, they are way more developed then my rear delts / traps causing me discomfort simply because it fucks up my form it looks like I'm slouching or hunched forward, what are some good exercises that i can do to balance this out ? and allow me to lead with my chest more outwards?

question 2. Today i benched 225 for 2/3/3 , what would you recommend i do to progress in my bench ? should i continue with 225, or lower it ? or increase it and go for 1 rep or something ?

This is fairly normal.

Drink more water and try to stay cool. Wear loose fitting clothes, or underarmour type shirts, and also try to stay in the a/c as much as possible.

Avoid spicy foods ;)

1. Work on your posture to begin with. Start consciously pulling your shoulders back and walking straight up and not hunching forward.

2. Do some more rear delt exercises. Rear delt rows (bent over) with dummbells/cables, Dummbell raises, upright rows (DB and BB), laying DB lat raises, Reverse pec deck, etc.

3. For bench, you should try for some negatives each week to throw your bench up higher. Get a spotter and do about 15-25% more than your max for as many assisted reps as possible. Do it like this. 10 reps warmup, 5 reps 185, 3 reps 225, 1 rep MAX weight, then 1-2 reps maximum assisted 15-25% increased weight (negatives). However you should also do some volume every other week. Go down in weight and hammer out some more reps, focus on the squeeze and form during these (12/10/8/6/4 range)

I know, but I'm always warm like in a far above average way.

Was hoping maybe there was some way I could have better cooling by doing even more cardio or whatever :P Too good to be true probably.

Thanks anyways :)

12 stone is 168 lbs, so that would mean that if you're bulking, you would need around 300g of carbs a day. In regard to protein, you would need around 300g as well...and fats should be around 60g.

As far as building muscle without carbs, yes it is possible, but only on ketosis. It's very difficult however, and should not be attempted unless there is really good reason to.

Carbs create glycogen which act in a way that provides the muscles with energy when not in ketosis.

My brother and I have been going to the gym for 2 months so far

we've been doing this workout, I found it on BB.com

Workout A:
3x5 Squat
3x5 Bench
3x5 DL (was originally 1x5, but that didnt seem like enough)

Workout B:
3x5 Squat
3x5 Standing press
3x5 DL (brother cannot do cleans, he isnt flexible enough yet)

We are only able to go 3 or 4 days a week, as our work schedules don't work well together

So what I'm looking for is a workout plan, that going will fit into 3 days a week that works as many groups as possible, and 8 rep sets instead of 5

Any help would be great
