thanks
so here's a question, for sunburn: aloe
for inflammation: ICE?
Say someone used an electric razor to shave an armpit. There's inflammation and perhaps even a cut, and it itches like crazy within a few minutes for at least a few hours
what should they take? Or just keep applying ice to reduce the inflammation?
Baby powder --> MYTH? haha
Also to add, is it bad to have the peanut butter at the end of the night just as you want to sleep? better to eat it than not eat anything else ... I haven't had anything in the last 4 hours since my previous meal (which was kinda heavy actually) ... fuck :l
whatever, to be safe, ill have a tsp of peanbut right nao
This is an excellent question. The answer depends on the SOURCE of the inflammation. If it's inflammation from trauma, ice is best. If it's inflammation from topical irritation like shaving, witch hazel, talc powder, and gold bond anti-friction are all good selections.
With regard to peanut butter, you don't need it before bed and quite honestly, you could have just gone to sleep even though the last meal was 4 hours prior, and ate the moment you woke up. I would just advise some BCAA's in situations like that.
Peanut butter nutritionally is not complete by itself (with regard to protein), so it's not ideal to take in place of something else. Peanut butter is an accessory to be added for flavor, carbs, and fat to a meal that already has protein.
