Hey Raynor, whats your opinion on binaural beats? Do you think they work, if so, do you think the effects are positive? I tried listening to one today and it helped me relax, I don't honestly know if it was the placebo effect or what.
Also Nootropics/Cognitive Enhancers? Do you know of any supplements that help with brain function, for example memory?
Some of these can help you achieve lucid dreaming more regularly than without. Does this make it healthy for you? Not necessarily. There have not been enough studies of auditory or visual aids that improve cognition, lucid dreaming, relaxation, etc.
So let's talk about what we know for SURE.....dietary aids and lifestyle changes.
If you are looking to improve memory, you need to first get yourself into a physical program that helps you to remember. Start making associations between things. If you are trying to remember that Shell Gasoline is on 3rd street. Think of a sea shell that's approximately 3 inches in width. You just created an association so when you think of shell, you think of 3. Then you know it's on 3rd street. You can also try pneumonics....say you're a police officer and you want to memorize that signal 20 means a crazy person. You would remember...."Signal 20, that person's acting funny."
Another approach to bettering your memory including repeating over and over in your mind, out loud, and through writing. Constant bombardment of things will help greatly.
Besides that, you can also make sure to eat properly, sleep well, and take certain supplements like arginine+ornithine and even ginko biloba
edit:
you can definitely try some ginko and gaba before bed. If you desire excellent sleep try this:
