Hello Raynor,
I humbly ask your advice for a 3rd year Uni student, trying to prepare himself for the military after graduation (which i've come to know as cardio/calisthenics kingdom), while maintaining performance for my passions (rocking climbing, brazilian jiu jitsu). I am a Criminology/English doub major - so i'm not doing anything as intense as Biology/Chemistry/Engineering that requires extreme mental awareness at all times.
My current stats are:
Age: 21
Height: 6'2''
Weight: 180
I was originally doing Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 program M/W/F/Sat concurrently with BJJ on Tues/Thurs. However I sustained a left elbow injury from a kimura technique in BJJ, and am coming off a 2 week break of doing nothing but swimming (egg beating and side stroke with my right arm only). This quarter I took a break off climbing at our Uni gym (offers a rock climbing wall), to concentrate more on BJJ because I thought it would not be feasible to lift/climb/bjj/study.
What do you suggest to provide a good balance ? That would allow me to improve on all levels, gain muscle, all while staying ripe for the military. I know this might be a daunting request, but any insight would be helpful.
I thank you for your time and consideration,
LtSinborn
