Hey there.  I am looking for a healthy protein powder that I can use in shakes.  I can't eat dairy eggs lactose or casien.  I've seen you recommend some products from now!  but unfortunately that brand is not availabe where I live.  Can you recommend me another brand that I can order online and what type of protein powder?  Also someone mentioned to me to take L glutamine for after my 2 hour bike rides.  What do you think of that, and is that soehting i can mix with protein powder?  Im fairly skinny and looking to gain weight and muscle.  You helped me a while back with a diet plan which I'm doing fairly well with.

Hey there.

If you're unable to take those kinds of protein, the only other option would be pea protein. Give me a list of the brands you CAN buy of that type of protein.

Abs Workout Routine

just out of curiosity...would it be bad to stay on my 5x5 routine?

I was kind of hoping to stay on a strength oriented routine during my cut (first 9 months of lifting and you recommend doing a year of strength before doing any hypertrophy) and it looks like both of those routines arent focused on strength but more on destroying your muscles :P

i dont mean to question your advice i just want to better understand is all

5x5 is meant to build strength and size....when cutting, your goal is to lose as much fat as possible.

you can certainly do 5x5 with cutting, however your strength is not going to increase when on a strict calorie deficit.

You can do either one, the key is lots of activity with the calorie deficit in order to promote continued fat loss.

Raynor If I wanted to get rid of the a certain chemical in my body fat storage that could be revealed in a urine drug test what would be the most efficient ways to rid my body of it?

in other words, what is the best way to burn through my body fat?

should i incorporate more cardio? should i run my cardio with a jacket and attempt to sweat more? cranberry juice? fasting? no carbs?

To answer this without overstepping bounds...the best way to purge bodyfat is to have a very high caloric deficit, as well as very low carbs. I prefer keto for this, and in order to do that, you would calculate your BMR, then subtract 500 calories from that, then add 1.5 hrs of exercise per day and finish up with doing it all under keto (zero carbs and 60/40 fat-to-protein in calories). You will lose fat rapidly with that.

at the same time, i want to retain as much muscle and strength as possible. Is it worth trying to keto with only a week of time?

No...with a one week period that would be ineffective. Massive caloric deficits and extreme exercise with plenty of water is the only way to accomplish radical fat loss in short time.
